Vascular sclerosis is a treatment to eliminate varicose veins and consists of the infiltration of a medicine that can be liquid, in foam or micro foam, depending on the varicose veins to be treated. It is administered inside the varicose veins and when in contact with the internal wall of the vein will produce an irritation and an inflammatory reaction that leads to fibrosis of the vein and a gradual disappearance of the varicose vein. It is an effective treatment in Grade I veins, known as “spider veins”.

Avoid abrupt physical exercise in the first 24-48 h. Avoid treatments that produce heat on the legs such as saunas, waxing with hot wax, laser, etc. Avoid sun exposure and UVA rays in the month following treatment. Keep the compressive elastic bandage or elastic stocking on during for 24-72 h.
