Teeth grinding

Bruxism is an unconscious, intense and rhythmic nocturnal movement of the mastication muscles.
The most common symptoms are:
– “Grinding” of the dental pieces during the night.
– Wear of the tooth enamel and mandibular or dental pain.
– Alterations of the temporomandibular articulation.
– Cephalalgia. By injecting a neuromodulator medicine directly into the masseter muscles, it is possible to alleviate the pressure produced by this involuntary action of our jaw.

It helps to refine the cheeks, since, by softening the muscles of the jaw, the bone appears more pronounced and sculpted.

Between 3 and 10 days after the infiltration.

The effect usually lasts between 4 and 6 months. While it reaches its peak after one month, the musculature recovers progressively its movement and strength. It is recommended to carry out the treatment two times a year.

The secondary effects are those related to punctures, which is why some bruises may appear.

Do not lie down during 4 hours. Avoid face massages, physical exercise, saunas and swimming pools during 24 hours.
